The Mount Gelmir region of Elden Ring is probably one of the most interesting regions in the game to explore. It’s filled with volcanic features (specifically the volcano), very well-hidden secrets, and, of course, enough dungeons to shake a stick. That’s why we’ve put together this list of Mount Gelmir dungeon locations for you to use in your exploration. With this guide in hand, you’ll be able to expose every nook and cranny of the Elden Ring’s own Blazing Mountain.

Mount Gelmir Dungeon Locations

The overall size of the region is relatively small, so a lot of dungeons seem quite close together. In reality, there’s a whole tangle of different paths to take to get to these dungeons, and each one can take you a bit of time to find, especially some of the ones that require you to start at Altus Plateau. , such as the Unsightly Catacombs and the Cave of the Sage.

volcano cave

This cave at the northern tip of Mount Gelmir is quite short, very dark, and 100% filled with demi-humans in various forms. Most of the loot here is nothing out of the ordinary, but the reward for killing the boss is probably one of the most unique weapons in the game.

bubbling water cave

Besides having a weird spelling that makes it sound like “See The Water Cave”, this place is a nightmare of poison and mages. You can get some hilarious drops here though, for example if you want to see your whole body covered in fungus and pretend it’s armor. However, while the boss is easy enough for anyone who has spent time in Caelid, the drop isn’t really worth it unless you’re trying to clear specific regions.

Tomb of the Hero of Gelmir

As with most locations in Hero’s Grave, you can expect to find those ghastly golden tanks that turn everything into a race. As if that weren’t enough, the volcano also supplied this one with lava. Double hit. There are some decent drops to find here if you can survive long enough, but you’ll definitely have to work for them.

Wyndham Catacombs

Another classic area of the catacombs. This one is filled with traps and imps, but offers top notch rewards to make the hike worthwhile. Definitely worth a visit for anyone who is tired of growing Glowwart.

Cave of the Sage

Another dark cave, this time filled with hidden walls that try to block your progress. On the plus side, there are some cool drops to be found mostly from the corpses of the two separate bosses you can find hidden in this dungeon.

Unsightly catacombs

One of the weirdest catacombs in the game to only feature beast-type enemies and an ogre to contend with is the Unsightly Catacombs. You can go through this dungeon incredibly quickly if you’re okay with shortcuts, which makes it much easier to grab the various key loot items.
